Excitement is building in the heart of the beautiful Gatineau Hills. In a 1930’s mansion overlooking Meech Lake, the O’Brien Chelsea’s Co-Owner Robert Milling and staff busily prepare for the soft-opening of this unique boutique hotel and restaurant on March 30th 2018. Now fully restored to its full splendour, this historic retreat has received some much deserved media and attention throughout the past week.
The Ottawa Citizen recently published an interview with Milling whose knowledge of the character, history, and location of the 1930’s mansion reflects his pride and investment in this project’s success.
CTV Ottawa gives an exclusive sneak-peak of the O’Brien’s 1100 square foot property in a two-part video feature which also includes aerial footage of the stunning vistas that surround this landmark property. With eleven guest rooms restored with modern comforts and featuring thoughtful and elegant details and their own spectacular view of the surrounding nature, the O’Brien Chelsea also boasts two kitchens and six fireplaces.
The O’Brien will accept reservations starting March 30th, 2018 for Friday to Sunday guest stays. The unique boutique hotel and restaurant opens for full bookings as of May 10th, 2018.
